Definition

The Modal Nodes is a Star Wars: The Old Republic guild. They can be found on the Saber of Exar Kun server.

And so it begins . . .

. . . a group of heroes comes together in defense of the galaxy. Their backgrounds are varied. Their methods diverse. Their motivation as different as the colors in a Voss sunset. But whether they do these things as acts of conscience, out of greed or a desire to gain power and control, they do them in the name of the Republic.

It all began with Csat, a very decorated soldier who has just finished exposing corruption throughout the Republic ranks. He had been smothered in warmth and recognition. But this new life somehow felt lacking – lonely. He knew that if he were the only hero out there, the Republic was doomed.

As he continued to monitor the military situation, he reflected on how much more he could accomplish with a team. He had accomplished much with just himself and a small band of companions, but that time was over. He was going to need a small army to face the bigger problems that lie ahead.

It wasn’t long before Csat’s path started crossing other heroes with similar stories to tell. They had all done great things for the Republic, but were now relegated to bit players in small skirmishes around the galaxy. They soon banded together to fight Sith and the Empire as a force to be reckoned with. Csat had the force he had dreamed of and started to plan for bigger things.

They started to call themselves the Modal Nodes – a reference to their beginnings as average guys, yet still pieces of the bigger Republic machine. Under this banner they began to make a name for themselves and gain both notoriety and followers. It is unknown what impact the Modal Nodes will yet have on the galaxy. But this is a group of heroes. Plenty of songs will be written about them. Plenty of babies will be named after them. Where their limits lie – if they exist – is yet to be seen.

So, you're interested in becoming a member of The Modal Nodes (Formally Paragon, but not that Paragon.) Whether you're interested in just the social aspects of a long running guild, the benefits of our advancement or would like to try your hand at raiding, we welcome all types of players.

In The Modal Nodes, we are looking for mature minded players that can treat each other with respect.

We plan on taking our time initially leveling through Star Wars: The Old Republic and eventually take on whatever endgame content is laid out for us.
